GMF Special Edition: Euripides’ Hecuba

In this special episode of the Greek Myth Files we explore the myth and fate of Hecuba, queen of Troy, which was dramatized by the great Athenian tragedian, Euripides (around 480–406 BCE). The play is being performed—live despite Covid—at the University of New Hampshire on April 23 and 24, and May 1 and 2. After a brief introduction to the play and its background, we feature an interview with the director and lead actor of this performance.

Also, the University of New Hampshire is sharing a video of the performance—you can watch it below (premiere is Friday, May 7 at 6:30 EST, but it will be available thereafter!)
